Douglass city officials allotted a half hour for the town hall dialogue on Recycle Bank last week. It took an hour.
A regular Douglass City Council was called to order at 7:10 p.m. Wednesday.
Three of five mobile home parks operating in Douglass were granted licensing for this year - Lorna’s Mobile Home Park, Don’s MHP, Poplar Street MHP. Action on Hope MHP and Sunset 77 MHP was deferred.
Because of inclement weather and other factors, the Council agreed to extend complimentary dog licensing through February.
The governing body reviewed progress reports on condemned property cases of 2009.
The Council also passed an ordnance establishing Land Bank and setting up board of overseer. This is made possible by state legislation for community development and revitalization.
