The Kansas State American Legion Baseball organization and the Augusta American Legion Post 189 announced Tuesday that a AAA Zone Tournament will be played July 26-29 at Wheeler Stadium in Augusta.

The Orioles played Tuesday night at Winfield, but head coach Jay Ingalls said in an e-mail announcing the tournament: “Today is a very proud day for Augusta American Legion Post 189. It has been many years since Augusta has been awarded Zone. This is a big step for our program, the schools in our Zone, and the town of Augusta.”
