Augusta’s girls bowling team had been deep enough and consistent enough to maintain a perfect record in Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail League play since the bowling program was created four seasons ago.
But all streaks must come to an end.
The girls team lost its first AVCTL match against Buhler 2106-1912 Thursday at home. While Buhler bowled well, Augusta had an all-around off day.
The boys team lost 2355-2195, while the boys JV team won 2155-1854. The girls JV team bowled a 1311. There was no Buhler JV girls team.
