After nearly 7 months of varying competition, Team Burden, led by Senior Cody Burden has won the 2nd Annual Football Off-Season competition.

Back in December, just before Christmas break, upcoming football seniors drafted out all underclassmen football players into teams, and competitions began immediatetly upon returning for the spring semester in January.

Areas of competition included off-season and summer conditioning participation, team GPA's each six weeks, core lift performances, participation in other sports, and muscular endurance tests.  The finale of the competition was held at Grizzly Adventures, where teams were pitted against each other in both low-course and high-course elements.

The idea behind the competition was to emphasize and enhance team work, chemistry, and accountability.  Each of the senior leaders helped get his team through various competitions and maintained high standards for each team member.

Other members of the team are juniors Garrett Emond, Luke Henning and Andrew Robertson. Each will receive a catered dinner, as well as gifts from Under Armour and Nike PRO.
