The local chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society will be hosting a chicken-and-noodle feed at the Augusta basketball games Tuesday night, Feb. 16, which will be “Orange Crush” night. The Orioles play against Buhler.
The feed, run by Dianne Reichard, Traci Payne and Jen Muhlig, begins at 4:30 p.m. in the Augusta High School commons area and will go until 7.
The cost is $5 for a bowl of homemade chicken and noodles as well as mashed potatoes and a dinner roll.
Slices of pie will be available for dessert for $1.50.
Of the proceeds, 75 percent of them will go to LLS, the world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education and patient services.
Reichard, Payne and Muhlig are a part of the Team in Training program with LLS. Reichard plans to race in her first half marathon June 6 in San Diego.
