The Jaguars beat Liberal 46-33 Saturday night to win the Andover sub-State bracket. They were able to beat Liberal at its own game - a slow-paced, patient game. At times, Liberal held the ball just inside of half court for more than a minute.
No. 2 seed Bishop Carroll held off Andover's girls basketball team for a 50-44 win Saturday night to clinch a spot in the Class 5A State tournament and end the Trojans' season.
Marshall Miller hit a free throw with 3 tenths of a second left on the clock to seal the win for Andover Central.
