Seems like with all the kids out riding bikes and playing ball in the driveways around town that maybe the 30 MPH speed limit through the residential neighborhoods is too fast. Walking my 4 year- old home from our neighborhood pool today we were passed by vehicles going much to fast when there are pedestrians on the streets. What do we need to do to lower these limits in the residential neighborhoods?

Does anyone feel the same way about the improvements downtown?  The antique light poles are very beautiful, however, how long will it be before someone drives over the large pieces of concrete and sues the City?  Has anyone considered that?  It seems to be a negative safety issue.

The large groups of teens walking around town are not only noisy, but they’re also leaving trash in yards.

Walking home from the pool  yesterday, my kids and I were almost mowed down by a young driver.  He was so busy showing off that he never even realized just how close he came to running over us.
