The cartoon on Friday, March 5 had a truthful caption, but only half the story. Instead of just “cram this health bill down the Republicans throat,” it should have been “down 84 percent of the populace throats.” I do not want either party to write a health bill. My health and treatment are my choice and responsibiltiy. Only more tea parties can stop this.

Why do the Republicans put all the blame for everything onto the President and make it his personal failure? The economy was in the toilet when he took office. It’s okay to disagree with his methods on addressing the problems, but he certainly didn’t create them.

As for the "trash" adjustment in price -- WHY are the businesses getting a "cut back"?! What about us seniors that have one to two bags of trash a week? --- partly because we taking recycle items to the recycle bins. Why should we pay as much as those that have 3-6 bags two times a week?

With all the new articles tha have been in the papers and TV news concerning underage drivers, it begs the question why an underage middle school student is allowed to drive to and from school on a daily basis. Can someone explain why a middle school student drives to school every day without a licensed driver in the vehicle with them? This is against the law as it is written.
