It appears that a U.S.-based Christian terrorist has done what no Al Qaeda related groups have done since 9/11 -- killed an American on U.S. soil.

Kent Bush said "it is strangely difficult to feel much sympathy for the victim (Tiller)." I doubt if Bush understands that George Tiller was considered a hero to many women who went through agony with some horrible pregnancies. For example, what about the woman who was about to give birth to a baby with only a brain stem and was going to die anyway after a painful birth? She reported pro-lifers waved their angry fists in her face as she entered the abortion clinic. She and her husband had desperately wanted a child. People decrying the abortions performed by Dr. Tiller do not usually have the whole story. Some right-wing "talking heads" have spread a lot of ignorance about Tiller and probably bear some respnsibility for the violence at abortion clinics. A little research might be in order--especially before writing opinionated, slightly ignorant articles in a newspaper.

I find it odd that the American Legion Riders would be promoting and sponsoring the showing of the movie “Easy Rider.” Although, a popular biker film which happens to feature a couple of motorcycles and lots of drugs and sex, it’s definitely NOT patriotic. Have they even seen it?
