I am mom to a son who some doctors told us to abort because he was not going to be prefect and (as you would say) was going to die anyway. We gave our son every fighting chance because we and the doctors are not God and should not be deciding the fate of an innocent child. For the woman at the clinic who so badly wanted a baby, it breaks my heart to know that because her baby wasn't going to be perfect it wasn't good enough. Our son did sadly pass away but, we were blessed with him for four days and during those four days he touched more lives than some people touch in 100 years. I can't tell you what you should do in this situation but, before you give your opinionated view maybe you should consider the other side of the story as well. I do not think that killing Dr. Tiller was the answer in any way. A life is a life, no matter if you share the same beliefs or not.

There’s always those lunatics out there that are just waiting for a “cause” to latch on to. The guy who murdered Dr. Tiller had a miserable life and mental problems. It’s really not about abortion. He just wanted to get noticed.

Some city councilmen should spend more time with the issues and stop worrying about the language of a resolution and who should be in charge of the meeting.
