LaVone "Vonnie" E. Linck, 80, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and farm wife of Augusta, passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2008. 

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until service time at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 5, at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.

LaVone was born in Great Bend on Nov. 26, 1927; the daughter of the late Adolph Albert and Anna Johanna (Skolaut) Grunwald. On March 1, 1947 she married Frank Linck in Wichita. Five years later they moved to a farm near Augusta. He preceded her in death on Feb. 12, 1997. A son, James Linck; brother, Donald Grunwald; and a sister, Wilma Busch preceded her in death also.

She is survived by: sons, Roy Linck and wife Connie of Augusta; and Steve Linck and wife Reea of Wichita; a daughter, Connie Basquez of Augusta; brother, Lynn Grunwald of Wichita; grandchildren, Andrea Leiker, Sarah Rios, Chelia and Jon Basquez, and Kyle and Katie Linck; and great-grandchildren, Dominic, Josh, Isabela, Emma and Maya.
