Jane (Taylor) Richardson, 80, Augusta, registered nurse, passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2008 after a long battle with cancer.

Visitation from 6-8 p.m.  Thursday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 20, at the First United Methodist Church, Augusta.

Jane was born to Millard Victor and Ella May (York) Taylor on Sept. 1, 1927 in Junction City.  She married Warren Earl Richardson on Sept. 16, 1950 in Enterprise. Jane was an active member of the First United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women, P.E.O., TOPS, Library Brown Baggers, Republican Women, Outlook Club, played in the church bell choir, and served on the Augusta Housing Authority Board. She volunteered at Robinson Elementary, Meals on Wheels, the Bloodmobile and longtime volunteer with the American Red Cross Disaster Relief.

Survivors: daughter, Linda (Jerry) Marcis, of San Ramon, Calif; granddaughters, Kristen Marcis of Dallas, Texas, Kaley Marcis of San Ramon.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents;  husband; son, Lee Richardson; and brother, York Taylor.
