Edith May Spaulding, 83, homemaker of Augusta, passed away, Sunday, Jan. 17, 2010.
Visitation 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Graveside service 1 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 21, at Elmwood Cemetery (12th Street entrance), Augusta.
Edith May was born in Linden, Tenn. on Aug. 7, 1926; the daughter of the late Tommie Lee and Addie May (Carter) Keling. On Oct. 19, 1947 she married Emmit W. "Bill" Spaulding in Corinth, Miss. and he survives.
She is also survived by a daughter, Deborah and husband Dr. David Lehr of Wichita; grandchildren, Carrie Voth (Jeff) of Wichita and Abbie Frank (Kison) of Lenexa; great-grandchildren, Amanda, Brock, Wyatt, Justin, Matt, Bridget and Gabriel.
