Catherine "Kay" Skradski, 86, homemaker of Augusta, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2008.
Viewing 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Rosary at 7 p.m. Friday and Mass at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 29, both at St. James Catholic Church, Augusta. Burial will be at Lakeview Cemetery, Wichita.
Catherine was born in Sawyerville, Ill. on Nov. 21, 1921; the daughter of the late John and Barbara (Paur) Spudich. On May 11, 1943, she married John Skradski and he preceded her in death. Brothers, John, Mitch, Pete, Joe and Steve; and sisters, Barbara, Mary and Ann preceded her also.
She is survived by: daughters, Susan Defore of Augusta, and Ann Skradski and husband Richard Bernhardt of Saipan; grandchildren, Pete Overman; Lisa Walker and husband Carlos, John Defore and wife Cindy, all of Augusta, and Byron Moore of Ft. Myers, Fla.; great-grandchildren, Alyssa and Adrian Walker, and Drake Defore.
