ANDALE -- Natalie Rives hit a three-pointer with 49 seconds left in Augusta's girls basketball team's game against Andale to cap a 10-1 run in the fourth quarter.

The shot brought the Orioles within two at 34-32, but Andale scored on a long inbounds pass that got past the Orioles' defense and made free throws to hold on for a 41-32 win.

Taylor Williams started the fourth-quarter scoring with two baskets, including a three. Christina Downs made a layup on a pass from Kyrsten Crawford after she blocked a shot.

Crawford finished with 15 points and Williams scored 11 points. Rives finished with three, Downs with two and Becca Carr with one.

Augusta will play Tuesday at home against Rose Hill for homecoming. The Rockets beat the Orioles in the season-opener.
