Jacob Allen Hoyt and Lyndsey Renee Giovinazzo will appear in court for their preliminary hearing on April 11 for the murder of Augusta resident Loyce Cody.
The date was set Thursday afternoon in Butler County District Court.
A full day was set for the hearing.
In addition, Judge Mike Ward signed the order for the competency evaluation for Hoyt to be done by Comcare. They said they would have the results to the court within 21 days.
County Attorney Darrin Devinney suggested 60 days to prepare for the preliminary hearing. All parties still agreed to do a joint preliminary hearing, depending on the findings of the competency hearing.
