Day Watch
Officers responded to Augusta Ave. and Ohio for the report of a non-injury accident. A 2006 Pontiac, owned and operated by Janice R. Bogner, Augusta, was northbound on Ohio and was struck by a 2006 Chevrolet truck owned by William Houchin, Augusta, and operated by Clinton J. Houchin, Augusta, that was entering the intersection westbound. Damage to the Bogner vehicle estimated at $3,000 and damage to the Houchin vehicle estimated at $1,000.

A non-injury accident occurred in the 1600 block of Ohio when Donald C. Strack, Augusta, was attempting to park his 2004 Chevrolet Colorado and lost control of the vehicle and struck several parked vehicles. A 1993 Chevrolet Silverado owned by Robert W. Hall, El Dorado, received $2,000 in damages. A 2004 Chevrolet Silverado owned by James J. Wheatley, Augusta, received $5,000 in damages, a 2006 Dodge Ram owned by Heath C. Pressnell, El Dorado, received $4,000 in damages, a 2005 Ford F250 owned by Darren L. Moore, Augusta, received $50 in damages. The damage to the Stark vehicle was approximately $5,000.

Officer responded to the report of a non-injury accident in the parking lot of O’Reilly Auto Parts, 335 W. 7th. The accident occurred when a 2004 Buick owned and operated by Alvin W. Bergen, Augusta, was backing from a stall and struck a 1984 Ford truck owned and operated by Leslie I. Clark. Bergen’s vehicle sustained an estimated $300 in damages and the truck sustained an estimated $200 in damages.
