Officer responded to the report of a non-injury accident that occurred in the parking lot of Dillon’s, 1510 Ohio, when a 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer, owned and operated by Ray M. Spangler II, Augusta, backed from a parking stall and struck a 1993 Ford Ranger, owned and operated by Sheila A. Lacy, Augusta.  Damage to the Spangler vehicle estimated at $200 and damage to the Ford Ranger estimated at $50.

A larceny was reported in the 400 block of Main.

An injury accident occurred at Ohio and Smiles when a 2002 Dodge, operated by Amanda M. Covey, Augusta, struck  from behind a 1998 Pontiac, operated by Christina L. Vance, El Dorado.  Damage to the Covey vehicle estimated at $300 and damage to the Vance vehicle estimated at $2,000.  Two occupants in the Vance vehicle were transported to Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado.  A notice to appear was issued to Covey for expired tag.

Fire units responded to a fire alarm in the 2300 block of Greyhound.

An injury accident occurred at Lake Point and Ohio when a 1994 Ford Taurus, operated by Rachel N. Wolf, Augusta, struck a 2002 Chevrolet truck operated by Paul L. Hamilton, Augusta.  Damage to the Wolf vehicle estimated at $3,000 and damage to the Hamilton vehicle estimated at $2,000.  Both parties refused EMS treatment.

A non-injury accident occurred in the 1300 block of Helen when a 1999 Lexus, operated by Erica A. Van Dever, Wichita, backed up and struck a 2008 Chevrolet, operated by Eric L. Charles, Augusta, which was parked in the crosswalk.  Damage to the Charles vehicle estimated at $2,000.  The Van Dever vehicle sustained no damage.
