The Andover Senior Center will be hosting free income tax preparation beginning Thursday, Feb 4. AARP volunteers will be preparing federal, state, homestead and food sales tax for seniors 50 or older, handicapped, and low income. By appointment only. We are now cooking lunches on Tuesday and Thursday at 11:30 a.m. here at the Center. Please join us for these delicious home cooked meals and call in advance to help us in meal planning. Menu for February: Thursday 2/4 Taco Salad, Tuesday 2/9 Cranberry Meatballs, Thursday 2/11 Baked Chicken, Tuesday 2/16 Pork Tenderloin, Thursday 2/18 Beef Stew, Tuesday 2/23 Chicken and Dumplings, Thursday 2/25 Enchiladas and Spanish rice.
We will be having a free Valentine Lunch on Friday February 12. We will be cooking hotdogs and chili and having homemade cinnamon rolls at 11:30 a.m. We will be providing entertainment. Please call or sign up at the center if you plan to attend, 316-733-4441.
Our third Friday carry-in-luncheon and general meeting is at 11:30 a.m. on Feb. 19. Bring your own service and a covered dish to share. We will have an informational program.
