On Dec. 11, 2009, Joseph W. Forred, Augusta High School graduate and former resident, graduated with a Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Overland Park, Kan.
Joseph exceeded the graduation requirements, which included over 4,575 required clock hours and participation in both Student and Out-patient clinics.
Upon early completion of his clinical requirements, Joseph was able to participate in a preceptorship with Dr. Michelle Robin at Your Wellness Connection in Shawnee, Kan. In addition, he participated in an extended preceptorship in Colorado Springs, Colo. with Dr. John Davis of Atlas Chiropractic with specialization in Chiropractic Biophysics (CBP) and Spinal Decompression.
Upon graduation, Joseph received a Clinical Service Award for exemplifying exceptional service to his patients, fellow students and the institution.
He would like to thank all those who offered unfailing support and encouragement throughout this experience.
