Epsilon Sigma Alpha of Kansas, a philanthropic organization, recently held their State Convention in Topeka. Motivation speakers from St. Jude and Heartspring, and awards were all a part of the big weekend.
The highlight of the event was when Beta Beta Chapter of Andover was honored as the top chapter in the State for 2008-2009.
The chapter received the award for hours donated, monies donated and the service hours performed during the year.
Beta Beta donated approximately $8,000 in cash to international, State and local projects, and gave a total of $17,500 in cash and monetary goods. Members also participated in all ESA programs, served on the state board and increased their membership by five new members.
