D J Engineering of Augusta is seeking conditional use permits to erect communication towers near its 400 and 500 block Walnut Street buildings as well as its facility in the Augusta Industrial Park.
Planners will consider the D J request during a meeting at 8 a.m. Monday in the upstairs councilroom of City Hall, Sixth & School.

The Board of Trustees of Butler Community College will meet in regular session Tuesday, Sept. 9. on the El Dorado campus.
That meeting will begin at 4:30 p.m. in the Purple Room of the Student Union.

A cast list was posted Friday at Augusta High School for the first semester play.
That drama department production will be “Once Upon A Mattress.” It will be presented Nov. 7-8 with curtain time each evening at 7:30 p.m. in the school auditorium.
