BUGS BUNNY CLUB
he second of four Bugs Bunny Club meetings will begin at 10 a.m. tomorrow in the Augusta Theatre, 523 State.
club meetings series for Augusta and area youngsters.
This is the 36th year for these kid club meetings and admission is only 25 cents.
Eight bicycles, three scooters and two tricycles will be given away at meetings this year. Safety information, games, and movies are featured inside the theatre from 10 a.m. to noon.
This week’s movie will be “Spirit of the Cimarron.”
PLANNERS DEFINE HIGHWAY CIMMERCIAL ZONES
Augusta city planners met this week to identify commercial business zones along the highway entrances to the community within the future growth area.
They identified areas suitable for Main Street, Central Commercial, and Neighborhood commercial enterprises.
'DEAR JOHN/' MOVIE AT THEATRE
“Dear John,” a PG-13 rated movie, will be showing at the Augusta Theatre, 523 State, this weekend.
The show times are 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday nights, and 2 p.m. Sunday.
Admission is $5 per person.
MOBIL OIL REUNION MARCH 24 at LAKE POINT
LakePoint Nursing Home residents are planning a reunion of fellowship and reminiscing for former Mobil Oil Refinery employees and spouses.
The gathering at LakePoint Nursing Center, 901 LakePoint Drive, will be from 2 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 24, in the facility's bowling alley area for light hor’deours and refreshments.
