Augusta, El Dorado Main Street programs seek $2,500 each

Funding request for Main Street programs in Augusta and El Dorado will be considered during Tuesdays meeting of the Butelr County Board of Commissioners.
Each community is seeking a $2,500 show of support from the county.
The meeting will convene at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the commissioners’ room at the county courthouse in El Dorado.
There are three work sessions on the Tuesday agenda. The topics will be: A Four-Day Work Week, Facilities, and Courthouse Centennial Update.
At a meeting earlier this month, Commissioner Mike Wheeler suggested cutting the Board meetings to once a week since gasoline is almost $4 per gallon.
Butler County commissioners meet on Monday and Tuesday of each week,
Commissioners will hold a work session Monday county budget presentations for 2009.
