Grasshopper Festival plans close to finish line

Downtown Augusta, Inc. will host a meeting at 5:30 p.m. Monday, May 12, to finalize plans for their annual Grasshopper Festival.
 This year's one-night festival will begin at 5 p.m.  Friday, June 6.
 Current events include: barbecue dinner, Gregg Woodall Band, Pet & Red Hat contests, Dance & Karate Demonstrations, Balloon Man, Working Art Fair, Vintage Movie, retail promotions and much, much more. 
Anyone interested in participating is encouraged to call DAI Executive Director, Julie Roller, at: 775-4585, or attend the Monday evening meeting.
