Augusta First Baptist Youth will hold their annual Auction and Dinner Saturday in the Christian Life Center of the church at 1501 State.
Come out anytime from 1 to 6 pm to get a peek at the amazing live auction items donated and start bidding on the 2,300 silent auction items being auctioned off to help support two mission trips and camps for students and adult sponsors at First Baptist Church, in Augusta. The Silent Auction ends at 6 pm as the Live Auction begins.
A Monterey dinner will be served at 5 p.m. Tickets for a donation of $10 can be purchased from any youth at FBC or at the door on Saturday.
All the proceeds go to help students and sponsors going on one of the two mission's trips, and or camp.
Some items available are handmade crafts including blankets, wood crafts and decorative crafts, gift baskets, and services.
The Live Auction has some pretty exciting items this year.
There are many gift packages for men and women, including golfing, scrapbooking, spas, night out with restaurant, activity and babysitting and much more.
In all approximately 120 students and sponsors from the Augusta community will receive help to go on a mission trip or to camp from this auction. Youth will go on two mission trips, one to the inner City of Houston to work and serve the poor and the second is a two week musical mission to the Southeast United States.
