Augusta School Board members will kick off their monthly meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday evening with the annual election of officers.
Robert “Bob” McCalla is the current president and Carey Lee serves as BOE vice president.
That meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Unified School District 402 office, 2345 Greyhound Drive.
Following the reorganization of the Board, new business items slated for discussion are as follows:
• Public comments concerning the Construction Management At-Risk Process
• Motion to approve Construction Management At-Risk Process
• Establish recommendation Selection Committee for Construction Management A-Risk
• Architectural Contract with PBA
• Approval to publish the 2008-2009 budget
• Approval of the 2008-2009 negotiated agreement with district teachers
• Administrative salaries
• Classified salaries
• Document for district contributions to 403 (b) accounts (post retirement)
• Cell phones
Unfinished business will include board goal setting and individual board goals and a recommendation of a high school activities eligibility review task force.
An executive session to discuss personnel is also scheduled at the end of Monday’s meeting.

• Special BOE meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 30
• Service Center Open House from 3 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 7
• Back to School Barbecue at 5 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 11
