Butler County Sheriff Craig Murphy reported Friday the investigation into a 10-year-old missing person case was continuing.
Authorities were still conducting more interviews and processing  evidence. However, they were not gathering anymore physical evidence.
A news conference has been scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday in the sheriff’s conference room at the Butler County Couthouse. More details are expected to be released..

The subject has been identified as  Adam Herrman who lived in Towanda with his adoptive parents and other siblings.

Sheriff's officers, along with assistance from the Sedgwick County K-9 Unit, began searching the Towanda area Wednesday for clues in a case of a missing boy.
The search was prompted by a call to the Missing Children Hotline in Wichita about three weeks ago.
Herrman, thought to be around age 11 or 12, went missing in 1999, but was not reported missing until now, according to Sheriff Murphy.
The boy went missing in 1999, but was not reported missing until now, according to Sheriff Murphy.
The officers started their search in a tornado shelter in the Pine Ridge Mobile Home Park, south of Towanda on Sixth Street.
"This was the last known location where the boy was seen in '99," Murphy said.
While the shelter they were searching was there back in 1999, the boy's house, which had been located in the vicinity, is no longer there.
"We are expanding the search," Murphy said. "We are going to go take a look at some other areas around here."
The K-9 unit moved from the shelter to a wooded area a little farther south of town for their search.
According to one news source, investigators are releasing little information about the case or what they've found.
Sheriff Murphy says the search answered one of the biggest questions in the case but would not elaborate.
