This fish was so big it took two nets to land it.
Even though he hooked it only 8 feet from shore, Jeff Flinn fought this flathead catfish - which weighed 75 pounds on scales at the lake and 65 pounds on a certified scale later - for about 10 minutes to land him.
"My net was too small and another guy brought his over and his was too small so we had to use both of them to get him in," Flinn said.
He hooked the monster at about 11 a.m. Friday.
"It was my best fish ever," Flinn said. "I have seen them about that big but I had never caught one that big."
As the lake levels drop, more fish like this are sure to be landed.
