Second annual Adopt-A-Pot contest kicks off

Last year’s Adopt-A-Pot Contest brought color and beauty to the downtown area as the result of hard work of a few individuals and organizations.

Flower pots were judged and the winners were awarded monetary prizes.

The public is encouraged to be a part of the beautification project.

The City is now accepting applications for the second annual Adopt-A-Pot Contest. Those wishing to participate can pick up an application the Downtown Augusta, Inc. office, 112 E. Sixth, or download one at:augustagov.org/government/press releases.
