No mail service in Augusta on Thursday

The Gazette just received word from the local post office that mail will not be delivered in Augusta today. The truck carrying the community's mail is stuck between Augusta and Wichita. Local carriers have been sent home and plans are to resume service on Friday.

That means a delay for Gazette subscribers who receive their papers through the mail.
