‘Lincoln ’ at local theatre this weekend

The popular Lincoln will be playing Friday, Jan. 18 through Sunday, Jan. 20, at the Augusta Historic Theatre, 523 State. Tickets are $6.

The drama is directed by Steven Spielberg is 2 1/2 hours and is rated PG-13.

The cast includes Daniel Day-Lewis, Sally Field, and Tommy Lee Jones.

A revealing drama that focuses on the 16th President's tumultuous final months in office. In a nation divided by war and the strong winds of change, Lincoln pursues a course of action designed to end the war, unite the country and abolish slavery.

Show times are 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday nights and 2 p.m. on Sunday.
