  • Rep. David Crum (R-Augusta) defeated Rep. Virgil Peck (R-Tyro) in a bid for assistant majority leader in a 63-29 vote during a caucus meeting in Topeka Monday.
    Crum represents District 77 and has served as a member of Kansas House of Representatives since 2007.
