There will be a Class 4A-Div. I and a 4A Div-II for the sport of volleyball, football, basketball, baseball and softball. These sports now will have 4A state tournaments and champions for both divisions starting next school year, except for football, which will start in 2014.

The camp will be split into two age groups. Incoming 3rd through 5th graders will play from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Incoming 6th through 8th graders will play from 10 a.m. to noon.

Hallmark bowled a 300 during the 74th Annual Kansas State Bowling Tournament in Kansas City this past weekend. The event has been going every weekend since March and concludes through the end of May. Hallmark bowled a 701 series in singles competition and was ranked in the top 100 out of more than 2,000 bowlers.

In his first trip to the state track and field meet, Steinkamp was able to clear 6 feet, 2 inches in the high jump event, a mark he's consistently hit all season despite the lack of normal amounts of practices all season. With that performance, Steinkamp earned a fourth-place medal in Class 4A competition.
