School Board to discuss food services

At the start of Monday’s November Augusta School Board meeting, Leah Williams, who works in the USD 402 as a certified child nutrition manager, for distinction for completing 60 hours of KSDE sponsored nutrition training.

The meeting agenda lists two new business items:

1. Refinancing of bonds

2. Food Services/School Nutrition Program

Unfinished Business:

1. Scholarship funds to the Augusta Community Foundation

2. Construction update

The ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Garfield Elementary will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013.

There will be an executive session to discuss negotiations and the superintendent’s evaluation.

The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the district office, Belmont & Greyhound Dr.
