Tis the season for fall festivals, gorgeous fall weather, and outdoor activities. With that in mind, we encourage you to keep an eye on the weather if you have any outdoor activities planned. Before we get to Saturday we have a few other rounds of thunderstorms possible.
First up, Thursday night – strong to marginally severe thunderstorms are in the forecast for Thursday night as a cold front moves into the area. Hit and miss thunderstorms will be possible through Friday. Friday night thunderstorm chances will increase from the west as a storm system approaches the area. Once again, strong to marginally severe thunderstorms will be possible.
Forecaster’s note the best chance for severe thunderstorms will arrive Saturday afternoon and evening, especially for areas east of I-135.
