Trebbe qualifies for State

Augusta's Kalley Trebbe has qualified for the girls golf state meet at the Class 4A regional hosted by Andale.
Trebbe shot a 109 in the tough conditions at the Cherry Oaks Golf Course in Cheney.
Augusta seniors Olivia Cox and Alyssa Bisagno came just a few strokes short. Cox missed the cutoff by three strokes, Bisagno by eight.
Buhler's Taryn Torgerson won the regional title with a round of 80 and led the Crusaders to the team title, edging Andale by 13 strokes 374-387. Winfield took third place with a score of 390.
The state meet will be Monday, Oct. 15 in Hesston.
