Obituary: Kevin Houchin

Kevin Gene Houchin, 36, diesel mechanic, of Augusta, passed away Friday, Oct. 5, 2012 in El Dorado.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 10, at Dunsford Funeral Home Chapel, Augusta.

Kevin graduated from Bluestem High School in 1994, and worked as a diesel mechanic for several area shops.

His survivors include: his mother, Zandra (Huckabee) Houchin of Augusta; sisters, Michelle (Kyle) Dixon of Independence, Kan., Crystal (Robert) Montano of Augusta, and Allison Houchin of El Paso, Texas; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Kevin was preceded in death by his father Dale Lee Houchin and his grandparents.

A memorial has been established with the American Diabetes Association, 608 West Douglas, Suite 100, Wichita, KS 67226, or in care of the funeral home.
