Standard of Excellence recognitions at Board of Education meeting

The Monday night USD 402 Board of Education meeting will kick off with district Standard of Excellence recognitions.

The Standard of Excellence is granted when a certain percentage of students either meet standards, exceed standards or achieve “exemplary” scores on the tests.

Kelly Slaton, Director of Communications & Special Programs, Technology Integration Specialist, will make a presentation to the board.

Assistant Superintendent Holly Francis will present the monthly curriculum report.

The one new business item will concern the Scholarship Community Foundation.

Unfinished business includes:

1. Fiscal Committee

2. Capital Outlay Long Range Plan

3. Middle School traffic update

4. Construction update

5. District Goals - 2012-13 Success Plan

There will be an executive session.
