- Pirate Day at Lincoln Elementary
- Posted Sept. 27, 2012 midnight
- Last week the students and staff at Lincoln Elementary enjoyed Pirate Day Celebration (it was National Talk Like a Pirate Day!), in honor of reaching another goal in the Million Minute Challenge. The students have been challenged to read 1,000,000 minutes outside of the regular school day. They read 180,500 minutes during the summer, which allowed them the special Water Day activity the first week of school. Since the start of school, the students have added 30,000 minutes to their total of almost 210,000 minutes.
